Hybrid supercapacitors based on arrays of carbon nanotubes and conducting polymers
Chemical power sources (e.g., batteries) and capacitors are widely used to store electrical energy.
In our opinion, the most effective way to increase the electrochemical capacitance is to use conducting polymers (which have a low mechanical stability when used alone) in a combination with CNTs. That allows us to achieve the optimal values of specific energy and power for a large number of charge cycles and create devices with a reasonable cost. Developed by Energo Plus materials based on CNTs and polyaniline have a capacity of up to 600 F/g and are very stable during long-term cycling.
